Little Oaks also recently celebrated Recycling Day by reusing plastic lids and bottles to create an uncycled curtain. This was an exercise encouraging fine motor control as a threading activity. The children loved seeing the outcome of their efforts and continue to marvel at their work daily, as well as the idea that something so beautiful can be made from our everyday “junk”.
