Pre-Prep and Prep pupils at Oakhill School recently treated their mothers to special celebrations in preparation for Mother’s Day on Sunday, 12 May.
At Little Oaks, Oakhill’s Pre-Prep, mothers enjoyed a warm welcome to a ‘Knysna Country Garden Tea’ on Thursday, 9 May. Picnic treats were shared together in the sunshine amid plenty of chattering and laughter, with songs and rhymes to match the theme. Oakhill Prep’s Intermediate Phase pupils followed suit on Friday, 10 May, with their annual Mother’s Day Tea. This event is always a highlight on the Prep school calendar, where the children spoil them moms with breakfast treats and meaningful entertainment. The Grade 4s kicked off with a heartfelt song, followed by the Grade 5s hilarious fashion show imitating their mothers’ dress sense, and then equally humorous limericks by the Grade 6 group. The Grade 7s finished off the morning with their slideshow of loving messages to mom. Both were very special mornings together, leaving treasured memories of spoiling and love.
