This term our Grade 3s explored and discovered many interesting inventors and inventions. They focused on well-known inventors from the past like Thomas Edison, the Wright Brothers and Alexander Bell, and also explored modern-day inventors like Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, and even modern household inventions like shampoo and glue.

The pupils especially enjoying looking into our own South African inventors who have helped people all over the world, as well as some amazing kids inventions! Some Grade 3s even created their own useful inventions for around the house, which was a wonderful lockdown challenge. This theme has certainly sparked a natural curiosity and love for learning and the Grade 3s have thoroughly enjoyed engaging in the rich variety of activities and tasks each day.
