With most of our past pupils being based in Cape Town or overseas, and with this alumni community growing, the time arrived for Oakhill Old Oaks to be launched with its own branding and constitution. The official launch was celebrated this weekend at De Grendel Wine Estate in Cape Town.
Guy Jacobs, past pupil and current Old Oaks Chairman thanks all who made this historic event such a success: “A big thank you to the organisers for a wonderful event! De Grendel Wine and Restaurant for hosting us and Devil’s Peak Brewing Company for generously sponsoring the ale! Thanks to all of you who made the effort to attend. Oakhill means something different to each one of us and that is a testament to its unique philosophy. This is a great start to laying the foundation of a strong Alumni and building a community of support to give back to the school that meant so much to each of us.”
