Oakhill hosted its inaugural U16 Co-Ed Hockey Festival this past weekend, following on from the success of the popular festival hosted for U18 players in April. It was a truly festive weekend, with eight high schools from the Western and Eastern Cape coming together to enjoy hockey, interwoven with fun and sportsmanship at the OSC!
The U16A Girls played five games, of which they won two, lost two and drew one. The U16A Boys played six games, of which they won four, drew one and lost one. The Most Valued Players of the Festival were Cayley Guccio and John Tanner respectively.
We thank all 250 hockey players and staff for participating in this exciting weekend of hockey and spending time in our beautiful town.
