Congratulations to our U13A Netball girls who claimed the title of KPSSS Champs on Saturday at Plettenberg Bay Primary.
Oakhill placed second in their group at the end of the league, advancing through to the semi-finals against hosts, Plett Primary. After a slow start, the girls managed to pull it back to win 17 – 10. They then moved on to the finals against Knysna Primary. Oakhill got off to a cracking start and went into half-time with a reasonable lead, but Knysna Primary soon evened up the score after half-time. The Oakhill girls found their rhythm again and went on to claim victory and make Oakhill history, with a final score of 17 – 14.
Well done to coaches Loami and Larry, and all the girls that represented Oakhill this season.
