Certificates were recently handed out to grade 7 pupils who achieved in the IEB Grade 6 Core Skills Test in 2017. The test was written by 3937 candidates from 102 South African Schools. Oakhill was placed above the IEB average in all of the strands namely Language Thinking (+9%), Mathematical Thinking (+12%), Visual Literacy (+12%) and Complex Thinking (+12%).
Bronze certificates were handed to Andrew Beviss-Challinor, James Brymer, Alida de Villiers, Nina Fioravanti, Max Hayward, Matthew Loon, Kate Tanner and Tristan Vogt. Silver Certificates were handed to Conny Chorley, Lily Donnell, Eugene Kok, McKenzie Marcia, Zara Osman, Erin Payton, Tristan Torrance, Ben Tyrrell and Natasha van der Westhuizen. Two pupils, Noah Platt (99%) and Max Penrith (92%) received Gold certificates.
