On Saturday the 25th November the Oakhill Dance Team participated in the Western Province Trials for the Performing Arts in Cape Town. All of the team were chosen to represent the Western Province at the South African Championships for the Performing Arts in Johannesburg next year. Nicholas Thomson, Hannah Micklewood, Kristina Steward and Josh Smith were awarded their colours for Dance in various styles, including Contemporary, Jazz, Irish, Ballet and Lyrical. While Leila Turner received hers for Vocals with Jazz and World music styles. Nicholas Thomson also received colours for Runway Modelling. Congratulations to Robyn Humphreys and to all the students – we’re very proud of the whole team for working so hard to achieve such great results!
