Oakhill hosted Woodridge Prep School for the first ever sport derby day this weekend, participating in the following sports; Rugby, Hockey and Netball. The derby day started on the Friday afternoon with the boys Hockey teams battling it out on the Oakhill Astro. A chilly and early start on Saturday saw the boys u9 rugby and netball teams start the day followed by the girls hockey. Luckily the Oakhill Supporters Club were out in full force to offer a much needed bacon and cheese or boerie roll. It was another wonderful interaction and fantastic to see the Oakhill Sport Campus full of future young sports stars and enthusiastic parents, where the focus was on children participating and enjoying themselves rather than on results. We are very excited about building this relationship between these two schools.
