Oakhill is well known for its sports festivals hosted throughout the year, bringing a large contingent of players, their families and supporters to Knysna to enjoy water polo, hockey and cricket. This year alone, the water polo “Chukka” festivals in February brought over 1000 visitors to Knysna. We are looking forward to the winter festival of hockey, which will see hundreds of players enjoying the our magnificent sports campus as well as the many attractions of our town.
April’s College Co-Ed Hockey Festival promises to be a truly festive weekend with nine high schools from the Western and Eastern Cape, as well as the Free State and Gauteng coming together to enjoy hockey, interwoven with fun and sportsmanship at the Oakhill Sports Campus. Over 230 hockey players and staff will be part of this exciting weekend of hockey. Knysna and hosts Oakhill School welcome players from Bergvliet High School, Brackenfell High School, Collegiate, DSG, Reddam House Durbanville, Reddam House Waterfall, Stellenberg High School and Witteberg High School.
