Dear Parents, and members of the Oakhill School community
The Oakhill School Board wishes to inform you of the actions we will be taking after Shane Kidwell’s announcement to take up an exciting offer he has received.
The HR committee of the Board will start a process to find a suitable replacement as the new Headmaster for Oakhill. The committee may co-opt additional help should they consider it necessary to ensure that a complete and exhaustive process is undertaken to find the best possible candidate available.
Our school is resilient and although change is never easy, we are confident of the continued sound stewardship of this wonderful institution and its resources. The school’s academic progress, development of its physical assets including the Oakhill Sports Campus and the development of its human resources are at an all-time high, thanks to the service of Board members past and present, the depth of management at the school and the unwavering support and assistance from the parents and students.
Shane remains with us until the end of the year and has committed to assist with an effective hand-over period. We are most grateful to him for extending his time with us to the end of the current year. As required the Board will of course remain very close to the developments and provide additional leadership and mentoring as may be required during this period.
We thank you for your continued support of the school and I look forward to communicating the news of our new Headmaster to you, in due course.
